Upcoming Launch
January 2026The official launch of SAFE is scheduled during Plan B Forum taking place in El Salvador.
This milestone will formally introduce the Foundation's mission, strategic pillars, and initial project portfolio to global partners, stakeholders, and the broader public. The launch event will highlight ongoing collaborations and outline opportunities for joint action in the years ahead.
Current Projects

Collaboration with

Emerging as the third-fastest-growing crypto region, Africa is increasingly vulnerable to digital asset scams and fraud. A recent Interpol operation uncovering $260 million in illicit crypto and fiat across Africa signifies the country's urgent need to strengthen its cybersecurity against online criminal activities
The Foundation is currently partnering with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to implement impactful initiatives focused on cybercrime prevention, youth empowerment, and support for victims of trafficking in Senegal.
In parallel, Tether is funding and supporting a select number of civil society organizations that provide direct assistance and protection to victims of human trafficking across Senegal, Nigeria, DRC, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Uganda.
